AMMAN — Minister of Labor Youssef Shamali and the Moroccan Minister of Economic Inclusion and Employment Younes Sekkouri met in Amman on Friday to discuss potential cooperation on labor and vocational training, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Vocational training centerDuring the meeting, Shamali praised the Moroccan government for their support in providing a grant to establish and equip a specialized center for vocational training in Amman. The proposed vocational training center, which will be located on an 11-dunum site allocated to the Vocational Training Corporation on the airport road, will focus on building and developing the vocational and technical skills of younger Jordanians in specializations required in the labor market. Developing skillsThe center will offer training in various fields, including car maintenance, medical equipment formulation, specialized professions in hospitality, and electronic equipment maintenance. The program aims to provide Jordanian youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the workforce and contribute to the country's economic development.
