Amman – Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat welcomed his Palestinian counterpart Rezq Salimia on Monday to discuss enhancing cooperation in marketing agricultural products, overcoming obstacles, and expanding marketing channels through the Jordanian-Palestinian Agricultural Products Marketing Company (JPACO).

Hneifat reaffirmed support for the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture in rehabilitating the Palestinian agricultural sector following the recent "barbaric aggression" against the Palestinian people. He expressed readiness to collaborate with the Jordanian private sector to bolster Palestinian agricultural efforts.
Salimia noted Jordan's support of the legitimate Palestinian rights, as evidenced by the country's strong royal stance and its popular, diplomatic, material, and moral backing. He also acknowledged the Ministry's commitment to addressing the reality of the Palestinian agricultural sector.
During the meeting, Salimia was introduced to the concept of horizontal wheat containers and the potential benefits of adopting this technology to enhance wheat storage capacity.
