According to a statement by the TRC on Thursday, the meetings saw the participation of telecommunications regulators from Arab countries, representatives of international technical bodies, and Arab institutions. Additionally, joint Arab work teams, the Arab Council of Ministers, and various agencies and organizations were present.

The agenda included discussions on numerous topics, such as the outcomes of the 32nd meeting of the Arab Spectrum Management Group issues related to the State of Palestine, and activities of agencies with observer status in the Arab Council of Ministers for Communications and Information. Topics on cybersecurity and Arab-Chinese cooperation in artificial intelligence were also addressed.

Regarding the State of Palestine, Sarhan emphasized that Jordan, represented by the TRC, implemented recommendations from the previous meeting.

Jordan, he noted, addressed Arab telecommunications authorities to inform them of its coordination efforts to facilitate connections with Palestine, assist in direct access to the data exchange center, provide roaming services, remove obstacles for Palestinian telecommunications companies, and counter bias against Palestinian content on social media platforms. Additionally, Jordan supports Palestine's use of Arabsat technology.

Sarhan also discussed the results of the 45th meeting of the Permanent Arab Postal Commission, the first Arab Postal Leaders Forum, and outcomes of Arab-Chinese cooperation in e-commerce during the 54th regular session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers for Communications and Information, held on Wednesday.

Other topics included development plans for the Arab region (2022-2025) and the outcomes of the 53rd meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Telecommunications and Information.
