Amman– The CEO of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (JPRC), Engineer Hassan Al-Hayari, highlighted key achievements of the Jordan Gas Company, a subsidiary of JPRC, during 2024.

He noted that approximately 35 million household gas cylinders (12.5 kg) were filled in 2024, compared to around 34 million cylinders in 2023, reflecting a clear increase in production. Additionally, 2,989 large gas cylinders (50 kg) were filled in 2024.
Regarding maintenance and repairs, Al-Hayari stated that around 195,000 cylinders were repaired in the cylinder workshop in 2024, a 13% increase from the 170,000 cylinders repaired in 2023.
The company also decommissioned 43,000 cylinders in 2024, a 64% increase compared to 30,000 cylinders decommissioned in 2023. Meanwhile, 109,000 new cylinders (12.5 kg) were sold in 2024.
In terms of imported liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the total quantity imported via ships reached 387,000 tons in 2024, reflecting the company's ongoing efforts to meet the growing demand for LPG.
Al-Hayari emphasized that these accomplishments demonstrate the company's commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and meeting local market demands with high performance, aligned with its vision of sustainability and continuous development.

Visual inspection to detect any defects or damage.

Checking the valves and other components before refilling.
These measures aim to deliver completely safe cylinders to consumers, in line with the company’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
