AMMAN — Jordan Post issued new tourism-themed stamps, which are available for public sale as of Thursday, according to Zuhair Al-Azza, the post's media spokesman. In a statement on Wednesday, Azza said that the stamps would depict Queen Alia International Airport, the city of Salt, and Thamudic scripts found in Jordan. According to Al-Mamlaka TV, he said that the tourism-themed issue consists of a mini sheet with six stamps, the value of each stamp is 30 piasters, and the total value of the book is JD1.80. Those wishing to buy stamps can visit the Postal Company building in Mqablain, next to the Radio and Television building. The stamps are also available in post offices in Jabal Amman, Jabal Lweibdeh, Downtown, Abdali, Irbid, Madaba, Aqaba, and Jerash. They are also available in Balqa Governorate.
