AMMAN — The
Jordan Post Company announced the launch of its
identity authentication through iris recognition service on the
"
Sanad" application.

Starting from tomorrow, Sunday, it will be available in
multiple postal offices throughout the Kingdom with the aim of making
government services more accessible, according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra, reported.
The process of installation and maintenance will be in
cooperation with the
Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the
company "IrisGuard".
Sami Al-Dawood, the chairman of the
Jordan Post Company's
Board of Directors explained that the digital identity authentication service
will be provided for free during official working hours of the post offices.
This process will allow citizens to access the
government services provided by the ministry, access personal records, digitally sign
documents, pay bills, and many other features.
He also ensures that this is not the end, and they hope to
implement this technology in all offices available to them.
Post offices ready to serve citizens
In the Balqa Governorate, the Fuheis and Mahis post offices
are ready to serve citizens.
In the Amman Governorate, these offices are ready to serve:
International Exchange Office, Al-Muqabalayn, Prince Hussein Suburb post
office, Prince Rashid Suburb Post Office, Sweifieh Post Office, Palace of
Justice post office, Marj Al-Hamam Post Office, Abu Nseir Post Office, Tla
Al-Ali post office, Khalda post office.
In the Irbid Governorate these offices are ready to serve:
Kafr Asad post office, Kafr Yuba post office, Arabella Mall post office, Sarih
post office, Irbid post office, Al-Nuaimah post office, Ramtha post office,
Al-Hassan Industrial City post office, Bishara post office, Harema post office,
Kufr saum post office, Irbid Central post office, Taybeh post office, Al-Shuna
Al-Shamaliya post office, Der Abi Saeed post office, Beit Ras post office, Sama
Al-Rousan post office, Al-Hussein post office, Al-Mazar Al-Shamali post office.
