DOHA — The trade balance between Jordan and Qatar during the
first half of this year amounted to about $118.1 million.

The Qatari Planning and Statistics Authority issued a
reported on Thursday, August 10, that Jordan-Qatar trade grew by 7.5 percent in
the first six months of 2023, from $109.8 million in the same period last year.
Jordan exports many commodities and various products to
Qatar, including vegetables, fruits, meat, dates, cheese, milk, poultry,
grains, sweets, rice, juice, nuts, oil, ghee, pickles, herbs, honey, eggs, and
coffee.
Meanwhile, Qatar's exports to the Jordanian market include
various chemicals such as car oil, slovenic acid, lutriene, aluminum molds,
paraffin, polyethylene, iron rods, chemical fertilizers, plastic bags, organic
fertilizers, and medical solutions.
