AMMAN – On Sunday, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, held two telephone conversations with the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Farhan, and the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Thani, as part of ongoing
consultations and coordination regarding the developments of the war on Gaza,
according to Al-Mamlaka.
Safadi and bin Farhan stressed the priority of
ending the war, ensuring the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and the need to build on the resolution project presented by Jordan and
adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, emphasizing the
importance of protecting civilians and adhering to legal and humanitarian
commitments.
Safadi and bin Thani emphasized the priority
of stopping this war and the resulting humanitarian catastrophe, as well as the
need to intensify efforts to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
