Jordan Strongly Condemns Israel's Announcement to Create Agency for Palestinian Expulsion from Gaza
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israel's announcement to establish a special agency targeting the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza under the label of "voluntary departure," coinciding with the Israeli Security Cabinet's approval of the separation of 13 illegal settler neighborhoods in the West Bank, paving the way for their "legalization" as colonial settlements.اضافة اعلان

The ministry emphasized that all Israeli actions targeting the Palestinian presence on their land are invalid, constituting a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law. These actions are part of practices amounting to the crime of forced displacement of Palestinians from their occupied land.

The ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah, reiterated Jordan's absolute rejection and condemnation of the Israeli government's decision, which continues to violate international law and relevant UN resolutions, particularly UN Security Council Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli actions aimed at changing the demographic composition, character, and status of the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem. It also cited the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which affirmed the illegality of Israeli occupation, Israeli settlements, and its annexation of occupied Palestinian land, and rejected the displacement of Palestinians within or outside their homeland.

Qudah called on the international community to bear its legal and moral responsibilities, compel Israel to immediately halt its aggression on Gaza and its dangerous escalation in the occupied West Bank, and address the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state with full sovereignty on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
