In a statement issued Monday, the authority confirmed its preparedness to manage the anticipated impacts of the weather system. Emergency plans have been activated across its departments in the northern, central, and southern regions of the Jordan Valley, as well as within the control directorate and affiliated sites.
Field teams, machinery, and equipment have been placed on high alert to address potential emergencies and meet the needs of residents across the region. The authority also highlighted readiness at all dam sites to ensure the safety and stability of water infrastructure.
Citizens, farmers, and livestock breeders were urged to take precautionary measures to safeguard lives and property. The authority stressed the importance of avoiding areas prone to water collection, dams, and valley routes. Residents are encouraged to follow weather updates through official channels.
The statement further outlined that on-call teams will operate 24/7 across the Jordan Valley to ensure rapid and efficient responses to emergencies.
