In a statement on the X platform, Momani underscored Jordan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, stating, "Jordan takes immense pride in its historic and steadfast support for Palestine. We have always been, and will remain, the closest ally of the Palestinian people, dedicating all efforts to defending their rights and just cause".

He emphasized that Jordan has utilized all its political, diplomatic, media, and humanitarian tools to support the Palestinian people, with King Abdullah II personally leveraging his international position and contacts to advocate for the Palestinian cause.

His Majesty’s efforts played a central role in reshaping global public opinion regarding the aggression on Gaza.

He highlighted the comprehensive measures Jordan has taken to support Palestine, including the political, diplomatic, media, and humanitarian efforts spearheaded by King Abdullah II.

His Majesty’s leadership and international engagement have played a critical role in shaping global public opinion regarding the ongoing crisis in Gaza, the minister noted.

Momani also praised the vital role of Jordan's armed forces and security agencies, noting that Jordan was the first to break the siege and deliver crucial humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Gaza and the West Bank.

The deployment of Jordanian air force assistance and the delivery of aid is a testament to Jordan’s historic commitment to Palestine, he said, adding that this commitment will continue, with the largest aid convoy currently en route to Gaza.

He further emphasized that the solidarity of the Jordanian people with Palestine is a reflection of the Kingdom’s values, pointing to His Majesty the King’s personal involvement in delivering aid to Gaza, despite the risks involved.

Momani reiterated the importance of supporting the return of displaced persons to northern Gaza and initiating reconstruction efforts to ensure the Palestinian people’s steadfast presence on their land.

In closing, Momani reaffirmed Jordan’s belief that lasting peace can only be achieved through justice, which includes granting the Palestinian people their right to self-determination.

He stressed that this can only be realized through a political process that leads to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The minister concluded by urging all Jordanians to take pride in the Kingdom’s steadfast position, remembering the noble and courageous efforts of the Jordanian people, leadership, and armed forces in support of Palestine.
