Jordan and the IMF agree to USD1.2b worth of reforms

AMMAN – The government has signed a new national program for financial and monetary reform with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) valued at 1.2 billion dollars.اضافة اعلان

According to Al-Mamlaka, the government aims to enhance economic competitiveness, boost export capabilities, and create jobs through the reform.

Minister of Finance, Mohammad Al-Assaf, emphasized that the new national program for financial and monetary reform, agreed upon by the government and the International Monetary Fund, does not involve raising taxes or imposing new taxes.
