AMMAN – The
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the heinous and ongoing war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza, the latest being the targeting of displaced people from the Gaza Strip in the UNRWA-affiliated
Al-Fakhura School and Tel Al-Zaatar School today. This is a blatant violation of international law, in the absence of an international stance to stop this raging war and the resulting humanitarian catastrophe.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, emphasized the Kingdom's strong rejection and condemnation of this act, which contradicts all humanitarian and ethical values and violates the rules of international humanitarian law, especially the
1949 Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilians in Time of War.
The spokesperson for the ministry stated that the continued absence of justice and protection for the Palestinians, along with serious violations of international law and humanitarian law by Israel, without leading to effective international action to stop the brutal aggression against them, represents a dangerous deterioration that must be stopped immediately. He emphasized the need to unite efforts to stop this raging war on Gaza and halt these repeated Israeli violations of international law and humanitarian law, as well as attacks on civilians, civilian objects, schools, hospitals, and places of worship.
The spokesperson for the ministry also called on the international community, organizations, and international bodies, especially the Security Council, to take all measures and actions that would stop this tragedy resulting from this aggression.
