The joint operation involved the participation of two C130
aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, three aircraft from the US, and
one aircraft from Belgium. The targeted areas for these airdrops were located
in the northern region of the Gaza Strip, where the humanitarian situation
remains dire.
JAF reiterated its unwavering commitment to providing
humanitarian and medical assistance to Gaza, whether through aid planes
operating between Marka Airport and El-Arish International Airport or via
direct aerial airdrop operations into Gaza. Since the onset of the Israeli war
on the Gaza Strip, a total of 46 airdrops conducted by Jordan and 63
collaborative airdrops with other nations have been carried out, demonstrating
a sustained effort to aid those in need.
