The coordinated airdrop operations involved
the participation of three C130 aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force,
complemented by three American and French aircraft. The relief and food aid,
generously provided by the World Food Program (WFP), targeted multiple
locations in northern Gaza, Al-Ghad reported.
This significant operation underscores
Jordan's unwavering commitment to providing additional medical, relief, and
food assistance to the people of Gaza, who face severe shortages exacerbated by
the ongoing Israeli conflict in the region.
JAF reaffirmed its dedication to
facilitating aid through an air bridge, whether via aid planes departing from
Marka Airport to El-Arish International Airport or through airdrop operations
directly onto Gaza soil.
Since the outset of the Israeli war on
Gaza, JAF has executed a total of 28 Jordanian airdrops and collaborated on 15
airdrops with friendly neighboring countries. These missions represent a
crucial lifeline for the people of Gaza, offering much-needed support amidst
challenging circumstances.
