AMMAN — The number of e-wallets in Jordan increased
by the end of November to 2 million, compared to 1.98 million in October,
according to the report of the
Jordanian Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC),
Khaberni reported.

JoPACC is the payment system operator that developed
domestic payment services including
eFawateercom and CliQ. In its November
report, the company said that 1.26 million transactions had been executed
through its mobile payment system, a 7.4 percent decrease over the preceding
month.
The total sum of e-wallet transactions also fell from JD173
million in October to JD155 million in November — a 10.4 percent drop.
Roughly 61 percent of e-wallet users are men, and 39 percent
are women, according to the same report.
