Al-Mamlaka TV reported that
the innovative approach involves transporting 40-tonne trucks from Jordan and
unloading them at the Alexandria Port into two containers.
Abadleh disclosed that this
new method has already successfully transported 10 containers, with promising
prospects for widespread adoption.
Responding to inquiries, he highlighted
that 20 containers have been transported via the Arab Land and Sea Transport
Route, representing a new avenue for exporting Jordanian goods to Europe. This
route commences at the Aqaba Port, traverses through the Egyptian Port of
Nuweiba, and then progresses overland to Mediterranean ports such as
Alexandria, Port Said, and Damietta. The containers have reached various
destinations, including Italy, Algeria, Senegal, Germany, Romania, Belgium, and
Cyprus.
Moreover, Abadleh revealed
that five containers have arrived from Germany and Spain at the Nuweiba Port en
route to the Aqaba Port.
Highlighting the company's
expansive reach, Abadleh noted that the ABMC now serves 13 European and African
countries. Plans are underway to transport the first container to Iraq, with a
route spanning from Greece to Alexandria, then to Nuweiba Port, and finally to
Aqaba. Additionally, coordination efforts are underway to transport multiple
containers from France, Turkey, Switzerland, and Romania.
