AMMAN — Jordanians will begin observing the holy month of Ramadan on Thursday, following the announcement by Grand Mufti Abdulkarim Khasawneh that the crescent moon was sighted in the Kingdom on Wednesday evening.
During a press conference to announce the results of the observation of the crescent moon of Ramadan, Khasawneh extended his congratulations to the Jordanian people on the arrival of the holy month.
