Jordan engages in human rights conference in Cairo

AMMAN — Jordan actively participated in the ninth meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Observatory for Human Rights (AOHR), which recently took place in Cairo. اضافة اعلان

The meeting focused on several important topics, including the action plan of the Observatory for the adoption of the Arab Decade for Human Rights 2023-2033 and the launch of the Arab Human Rights Index. Preparations for the first annual conference on human rights in the Arab world were also discussed, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

The conference is scheduled to be held in conjunction with the United Nations' commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
