AMMAN — The
Jordanian National Center for Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Control (JCDC) and the World Health
Organization (WHO) on Tuesday discussed implementing health information
technology projects in line with the center’s plan to support and promote
Jordan’s digital health strategy, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During the meeting, Head of the JCDC Raeda Qutob said
that discussions focused on cooperating to incorporate these projects in the
digital health strategy in coordination with the Ministry of Health and other
concerned authorities.
The information technology projects aim to boost the use of
digital solutions in the fields of public health and disease monitoring and
control, Qutob said.
