AMMAN – Jordan is expected to experience rain
and a decrease in temperatures on Sunday due to the descent of a polar air mass
towards Eastern Europe, leading to the formation of a deep low-pressure system
centered in central Ukraine on Sunday evening. Despite the center of the
low-pressure system being about 3,000 kilometers away from the Kingdom, it will
have indirect effects on Jordan.

According to Khaberni, the impact on Jordan is
expected to take the form of an extension of a low-pressure system that begins
to affect the northern regions on Monday after midnight. It will gradually
extend towards the central regions, including the capital Amman, with rain of
varying intensity, a significant drop in temperatures, and generally cold
weather. Additionally, there will be windy conditions, according to "Arab
Weather."
The forecasts also indicate the continuation
of the chance of scattered rain showers periodically during the day on Monday.
As night falls, the weather tends to stabilize in most northern and central
areas, with a chance of some scattered rain, especially in parts of the
southern region.
The low-pressure system's impact will be
preceded by increased southwest winds on Sunday, with strong gusts at times,
leading to the stirring of dust and dust, especially in the desert areas of the
south and east of the Kingdom.
