AMMAN — The skies in Jordan and much of
the
Arab world will be lit with a meteor shower on November 17–18, Khaberni
reported.

At least 30 to 40
shooting stars will enter the Earth’s atmosphere per hour each day and can be
seen with the naked eye, according to the International Meteor Organization.
Emad Mujahid, a
member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Science, said that according
to studies on the anticipated meteorite, monitoring will be possible after 12am
on Thursday, and Friday.
