Kuwaiti license plates in the Kingdom for 18 months, instead of eight, Khaberni
reported.

The envoy attributed the decision owed to the depth
and strength of relations between the two countries.
Jordan has agreed to a similar residency period for
vehicles bearing license plates from Saudi Arabia.
Daihani said that the Kuwaiti embassy contacted the
concerned authorities through the Jordanian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to convey the desire of the Kuwaitis residing in Jordan in order to
help extending the licensed period for their cars instead of taking them out
after eight months.
The ambassador pointed out that he sensed the keenness of
the concerned authorities in Jordan in order to facilitate the citizens of the
joint Jordan-Gulf Cooperation Council countries and to provide all the
facilities that can be provided to them in Jordan.
