AMMAN — Ministry of Justice for Judicial Affairs hosted a
Mauritanian delegation led by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice
of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Aida, according to a press
statement.

The meeting was held in the presence of the Secretary General of
Administrative and Financial Affairs at the ministry, Kholoud Al-Abadi.
During the meeting, Jordan's experience in several legal fields was
presented, and the development made in the justice sector was discussed. The
role of the Ministry of Justice in enhancing the rule of law, human rights
system, and legislative development was also reviewed.
The visiting delegation was also briefed on the organizational
structure of the ministry and its most important tasks and functions.
The secretary general of the Mauritanian Ministry of Justice
praised Jordan's experiences in the justice sector and the distinguished development
of Jordan's justice sector strategy, emphasizing the importance of cooperation
and exchange of experiences between the two sisterly countries.
The official delegation from the Mauritanian Ministry of Justice
will conduct a number of field tours, meetings, and discussions with officials
in the Judicial Council, the State Cases Administration, the Supreme
Administrative Court, and the Judicial Institute to learn about the most
prominent developments in the Jordanian judiciary.
