AMMAN — Jordanian Ambassador to
Egypt Amjad Al-Adaileh inaugurated the first international exhibition of
Jordanian universities in Cairo, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The aim of the exhibition is to attract Egyptian students to pursue higher
education in Jordan.
The Oval Office for Studies and Research, in collaboration with the
Ministry of Higher Education, the Jordanian Embassy in Cairo, and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), are organizing the two-day event, which drew a large crowd
on the first day.
The attendees
got a close look at flyers and other marketing material promoting education in
Jordan.
During the opening ceremony, Adaileh said that the exhibition is an
opportunity to learn more about Jordan’s higher education and reflects the
strong Jordanian-Egyptian ties, particularly in the cultural and educational
fields.
Some
38,000 international students presently study in the Kingdom, according to the
JTB.
