AMMAN — On Wednesday, the
Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) and the
French company "Top of Travel" inked a support agreement for charter
flights to Jordan with the goal of boosting the
influx of French tourists to
the Kingdom.

Makram Qaisi, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and
Chairman of the JTB's Board of Directors, expressed his optimism that this
agreement would have a positive impact on the number of French tourists
visiting Jordan. He pointed out that charter flights would be available from
over 20 French provinces to both
Amman and Aqaba, the Jordan News Agency, Petra
reported.
This signing event took place on the sidelines of the
internationally renowned Top Risa tourism exhibition based in France, where
Jordan had its own dedicated pavilion.
