AMMAN —
The ambassador of Pakistan Sajjad Ali Khan on Wednesday said Jordan has been
invited to partake in the 48th session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) scheduled for March 22nd-23rd in
Islamabad.

In a press release
carried by the Jordan News Agency, petra, the envoy highlighted the
“distinguished relations” as well as cooperation and consultation between
Jordan and Pakistan on various issues of interest for the OIC, stressing
Jordan’s key and efficient role in the organization’s activities.
Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi is set to participate
in the meeting, which will tackle a number of key issues of concern to the OIC.
