AMMAN — Qatar announced it will be holding
an exercise involving security forces from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab
and foreign countries as part of preparations underway for the FIFA World Cup
Qatar 2022, Ammon News reported.

Safety and Security Committee is organizing the October 23–27 exercise,
nicknamed “Watan”.
Doha is seeking to test the readiness and
organization ahead of the world cup to ensure that the sports event is safe and
well planned for, the Safety and Security Committee tweeted.
“To make sure that the organizing bodies of the
Watan exercise benefit from the experiences of various countries and exchange
security expertise, a number of brotherly and friendly countries are
participating in the exercise with military forces with different and varied
tasks,” it tweeted.
