The new system aims to simplify and expedite the
visa application process for Moroccan travelers, reflecting the strong historical
ties between the two nations.
In a recent Facebook post, the embassy confirmed that
Moroccans can now obtain their visas electronically before their trip to
Jordan. The application procedure takes place through the website of the
Jordanian Ministry of Interior.
According to the embassy, the
electronic visa grants Moroccan visitors a 30-day stay in Jordan, starting from the date of entry.
In the event that a
Moroccan visa holder desires to extend
their stay beyond the initial 30 days, they can visit the nearest security
center for further assistance.
