To the above should be added the close cooperation among the various sectors and the successes achieved in the medical field, which, along with other fields, contributed to placing Jordan on the medical tourism map as an advanced medical tourism destination.

President of the Jordan Hotels Association Abdel Hakim Al-Hindi said that, according to the Ministry of Health, by August, some 124,000 patients had received treatment in the Kingdom.

He added that that hotels provide accurate details to patients, modern technology and translation experts in several languages.

President of the Private Hospital Association and Honorary President of the World Council for Medical Tourism Dr Fawzi Al-Hammouri said that Jordan still ranks first in medical tourism in the region, and is among the top 10 countries in the world in this field.
