Jordan ranks first in the Arab world in air quality

AMMAN — Jordan ranks first among the Arab countries and 46 globally in air quality, with a score of 50.7, according to the results of the Environmental Performance Index issued by Yale University, Jo24 reported.اضافة اعلان

According to the Climate Change Index, Jordan ranked second in the Arab world and 76 globally, with a score of 42.8. The index is based on evaluating the policies pursued by governments of different countries of the world in protecting and preserving the environment.

The index utilized other assessment tools used by the UN to monitor countries’ levels of commitment to achieving the UN Sustainability Goals.
