Jordan records 11 deaths, COVID cases remain stable

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 965 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, in addition to 11 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,422 and the caseload to 798,091.اضافة اعلان

Breaking down Wednesday’s tally, the Ministry of Health stated

that Amman recorded 432 cases, while Zarqa recorded 125 cases.
Irbid registered 117 cases, while Balqa recorded 34 cases.
Karak recorded 19, Jerash recorded 42 cases, and Tafileh recorded 49.
Madaba registered 6 cases, Aqaba 33, and Ajloun 18.
Mafraq registered 21 new cases.
Ramtha recorded 9 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 94 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 85 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,506 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.04 percent of the 31,771 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
