AMMAN — Jordan recorded 904 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday,
in addition to 12 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,586 and the
caseload to 811,463.
The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 405 cases,
while Zarqa recorded 130 cases.
Irbid registered 111 cases, while Balqa recorded 32 cases.
Karak recorded 21, Jerash recorded 21 cases, and Tafileh
recorded 34.
Madaba registered 12 cases, Aqaba 42, and Ajloun 28.
Mafraq registered 22 new cases.
The ministry added in a statement that some 45 hospitalized
COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 71
were admitted.
The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at
around 12,479 according to the Ministry of Health.
Around 3.22 percent of the 28,071 COVID-19 tests that were
conducted today came back positive.
