Jordan records 14 COVID deaths Tuesday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,002 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, in addition to 14 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,491 and the caseload to 803,351. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 389 cases, while Zarqa recorded 181 cases.

Irbid registered 138 cases, while Balqa recorded 36 cases.

Karak recorded 26, Jerash recorded 30 cases, and Tafileh recorded 55.

Madaba registered 16 cases, Aqaba 25, and Ajloun 26.

Mafraq registered 35 new cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 71 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 80 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 11,885 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.47 percent of the 28,890 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
