Jordan records 361 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded today reached 7, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 361 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Friday, bringing the death toll to 9,710 and the caseload to 749,046. The ministry added in a statement that some 70 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 51 others were admitted. The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 6,525, according to the ministry’s statement. Around 1.99 percent of the 18,135 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
