Jordan records 6 COVID deaths on Tuesday

AMMAN — Jordan recorded 1,042 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, in addition to 6 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 10,703 and the caseload to 819,783. اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health stated that Amman recorded 411 cases, while Zarqa recorded 99 cases.

Irbid registered 156 cases, while Balqa recorded 52 cases.

Karak recorded 55, Jerash recorded 36 cases, and Tafileh recorded 17.

Madaba registered 20 cases, Aqaba 54, and Ajloun 37.

The ministry added in a statement that some 59 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 99 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 12,397 according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.67 percent of the 28,384 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
