AMMAN — Jordan's imports of crude oil, its derivatives, and
mineral oils have decreased by 15.1 percent from the beginning of the current
year until the end of October. Trade data released by the
Department of Statistics (DoS) revealed a decline in Jordan's oil bill, reaching JD2.587 billion
compared to JD3.048 billion for the same period last year, Al-Mamlaka TV
reported.

According to DOS, the value
of Jordan's oil bill decreased by approximately JD461 million by the end of
October this year compared to the same period last year.
The statistics show that
fuel and mineral oils topped the
list of Jordan's imports of oil derivatives, reaching around JD839 million,
followed by Crude oil with a value of JD653 million, and gasoline with
approximately JD563 million. Additionally,
Jordan's imports of diesel amounted to nearly JD499 million, along with lubricating oils
totaling around JD32 million.
