The sector has witnessed remarkable progress

accepted both locally and globally. This is attributed to innovation and

supplies and exporting a portion of its production.
The sector's contribution to the Gross
Domestic Product (GDP) is substantial, reflecting its role in driving
sustainable development and enhancing the Kingdom's economy.
Employing nearly 10,000 workers, with 98
percent being Jordanians, the sector emphasizes the utilization of the local
workforce across various levels.
With over 70 production lines focusing on
generic branded drugs, the sector adheres to high international quality
standards, solidifying its position as a producer of guaranteed quality
medicines.
