Jordan sends two aid convoys to Gaza

GAZA – On Wednesday, the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) dispatched a convoy of humanitarian and relief aid to the Jordanian Field Hospital and two trucks in southern Gaza, Al-Ghad, Al-Mamlaka TV reported. اضافة اعلان

The convoy consisted of 15 trucks, carrying essential supplies, medical equipment, and food for the people in Gaza, aiming to alleviate the challenging conditions and the impact of the ongoing war in the region.

Simultaneously, another convoy of food aid was dispatched to the region by the JHCO, in collaboration with the World Food Program (WFP). The convoy comprises 46 trucks, carrying 750 tonnes of relief materials.

Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of the JHCO, emphasized the urgent need for food supplies amid the humanitarian crisis in the strip. In response, the organization prepared a new convoy with basic food items easily accessible and consumable by the people in Gaza.

He noted that the organization has sent 22 planes and 76 trucks containing medical, food, and relief supplies to Gaza since October 7.
