OCCUPIED WEST BANK — On Sunday, the
Jordanian government officially handed over the initial aid convoy to the Palestinian government in
Ramallah, marking a significant step in their collaborative relief efforts.
This convoy, initially loaded with wheat, will be succeeded by a second batch
containing grains and medicines once logistical arrangements are finalized, as
reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The comprehensive aid package amounts to 45,000 tonnes of
wheat and grains, complemented by seven trucks carrying essential medical
supplies. Reflecting on previous initiatives, in October, the Jordanian
government dispatched six trucks loaded with medicines and medical supplies to
Palestine. Following this, in November, urgent medical and pharmaceutical aid
was promptly delivered to the
Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza. Further
bolstering these efforts, additional medical aid was provided just this Saturday.
The
Palestinian Minister of National Economy elaborated on
the distribution plan, stating that the wheat quantity would be processed into
flour and distributed in 50 kg bags to targeted groups according to a mechanism
defined by the government. This integrated relief approach aims to address
critical needs and sustain support for those affected in Gaza and the West
Bank.
