During a dialogue meeting held by the American College Alumni Association, Obeidat highlighted the success factors which Jordan used in facing the repercussions of COVID-19 despite all the challenges, including the National Early Vaccination Program, where Jordan ranked 42nd in the world in the speed of vaccination, and provided vaccines to everyone residing in the Kingdom regardless of nationality, and worked to build a national program for vaccination, in addition to organizing the vaccination drive and automating it.
He also pointed out that the vaccine remains one of the successful prevention tools and means to reduce the number of cases and the severity of the disease and reduce the number of admissions to hospitals.
He also said that the speedy vaccination drive mitigated the economic burden resulting from lockdowns and other consequences of the pandemic, pointing to some principles and ways of dealing with them.
