Jordan takes part in a workshop on technology and election

AMMAN — Jordan took part, on Thursday, in a virtual workshop entitled “Technology and Elections,” organized by the Secretariat General of the Arab League, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

The two-day workshop saw the participation of 18 Arab electoral bodies, including Bahrain, UAE, Tunisia, Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Sudan, Oman, Palestine, Somalia, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, and Yemen.

The workshop focused on four main subjects: using technology in voter registration, modern technologies used on polling day, utilizing technology in voter awareness, and the impact of social media on various stages of the electoral process.
