Shboul said with
the
Economic Modernization Vision launched on Monday, the government will
“start researching mechanisms and holding public discussions with partners, in
the private sector, and is also seeking to attract investments from abroad and
prioritizing projects in the next phase.”
“And, this is the
most important step,” he added.
Shboul explained
that Jordan started with political reforms years ago, and “now the economic
vision, and then we will talk about developing the public sector so that it is
a comprehensive process, as an extended vision over three phases starting from
now.”
The minister
pointed out that “before launching the vision, there were workshops in the
Royal Court, in which all parts of the society, civil society institutions, the
government, the legislative authority and experts in all fields participated.”
As a result, he added,
“this is the product of an integrated national work that is applicable within a
defined timeframe.”
