Hneifat said that
the meeting was held with the national interest in mind, and that the purpose
is to increase
Jordanian agricultural exports and the farmers’ income.
The ministry
signed no agreement to provide produce to settlements, and “the results of the
meeting were announced on the same day through official statements in various
media outlets” said Hneifat, who added that Jordanian exports to Israel will
not raise prices for Jordanian citizens.
