— Iraq's Electricity Minister, Ziyad Ali Fadel, has announced that Jordan will
provide 150 megawatts of electricity to supplement Iraq's national grid.

electrical connection between the two countries will be established through the
Iraqi Rutba district, according to a local media outlet.
Gulf

revealed that the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity is in talks with Gulf countries
to provide up to 500 megawatts for the Basra Governorate.
This
move is part of the ministry's initiative to establish electrical
interconnection with neighboring countries, thereby increasing Iraq's
electricity supply.
Saudi
Arabia to supply Iraq with 1,000 megawattsDuring
a recent visit to Riyadh, Minister Fadel met with the Saudi Minister of Energy,
Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, to activate the Iraq-Saudi agreement. Under this
agreement, Saudi Arabia will supply the Iraqi national grid with 1,000
megawatts of electricity.
