Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), Abdel Razzaq Arabiyat, said that the board was
planning the launch of several tourism marketing campaigns in European and Gulf
countries. It also ran a Jordan tourism campaign during the World Cup in Qatar.
“The JTB is working on a plan for next year
to eliminate seasonal tourism in Jordan, and rather activate tourism throughout
the year, using the diversity that this country has, which does not exist
anywhere else,” Arabiyat said at the time.
He also highlighted the need to expand the
marketing of service-providers in both well-known and less-known areas of the
Kingdom.
