AMMAN — The number of international visitors from Arab countries to Jordan reached approximately 2.6 million tourists during the first ten months of 2023, according to data released by the
Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

Arab visitors accounted for about 47.2 percent of the total visitors to the Kingdom, totaling around 5.5 million from the beginning of the year until the end of October, Khaberni reported.
The number of Arab visitors to the Kingdom increased by 8.3 percent, reaching a total of 200,000 tourists.
Saudi Arabia claimed the top spot among
Arab visitors, with a number reaching 961,000 tourists during the first ten months of 2023, marking a 7 percent increase or more than 62,000 tourists compared to the same period last year.
It is worth noting that tourism revenue experienced a growth of 11.7 percent in October compared to the same month in 2022, reaching JD435.9 million (614.8 million US Dollars), according to preliminary data from the
Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).
