The joint operation involved two C130 aircraft from the
Royal Jordanian Air Force, an aircraft from Egypt, as well as three aircraft
from the US and one from Belgium. These aid deliveries were coordinated with
Brunei to alleviate the impact of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and
to meet the urgent needs of the Palestinian population, particularly in terms
of food supplies.
JAF emphasized its commitment to sending humanitarian and
medical aid through an air bridge, either via aid planes from Marka Airport to
El-Arish International Airport or through airborne operations directly to Gaza.
Additionally, ground convoys continue to deliver aid.
Since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, JAF
has executed 42 Jordanian airborne aid operations and 54 joint airborne
operations with other nations.
