AMMAN – On Saturday, Christian leaders in the Kingdom condemned a meeting
between Church leaders in Jerusalem and the
Israeli President, Isaac Herzog,

In a statement released earlier, the signatories denounced
the meeting in light of the
ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in
Gaza by the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
They expressed their shock, initially doubting the
authenticity and credibility of the images released showing Church leaders with
Herzog. However, after various sources confirmed the images,
Jordanian Christians were convinced that indeed the meeting had occurred.
They pray for God to forgive them for their mistakes and
comfort any feelings of pain. Stating that
Christian leaders are supposed to
guide us spiritually, not lead followers in worldly matters. They mentioned
that they appreciate the defense of the people in Palestine and the brave
people of Gaza.
They also commend the unwavering stance of our Kingdom,
especially with their continuous initiative to send necessary humanitarian aid
to the strip.
