Amman – The King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center, in collaboration with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, has completed the specialized medical clinics project in the Zaatari camp after 14 months of providing medical and health services to Syrian refugees within the camp.اضافة اعلان

The project aimed to provide integrated, high-quality primary and secondary healthcare services, adhering to local and international medical guidelines, for men, women, youth, and children residing in the Zaatari refugee camp.

The services provided include general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, internal medicine, ENT, cardiology, ophthalmology, and dental care, in addition to an emergency clinic and minor surgeries.

The project also includes a physical therapy center.
The project provides supportive medical services to ensure diagnostic and treatment services through a fully equipped laboratory and an X-ray machine that provides radiographic images of various body parts.

The center also includes a main pharmacy that provides medications for acute, seasonal, and chronic diseases.

Naif bin Saleh Al-Shammari, Director of the King Salman Relief Center in Jordan, stated that the center continues its support for affected communities in the region through vital humanitarian and health projects.

He emphasized that the specialized medical clinics project in Zaatari is a step towards providing comprehensive healthcare to Syrian refugees and ensuring they receive the necessary medical services.

For his part, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, affirmed the ongoing partnership with the King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center in executing the specialized medical clinics project in Zaatari.

He highlighted that the project has contributed to providing comprehensive, high-quality medical and health services to Syrian refugees throughout the year, reflecting the values of solidarity and humanitarian cooperation.

He explained that the organization is committed to continuing its work with partners to meet the needs of the local community and refugees and ensure everyone receives the necessary healthcare.

He expressed his gratitude to all the supporting and working entities in the project that contributed to improving the quality of life for the beneficiaries.
